This support group is designed specifically for parents of neurodivergent children and is led by Colleen Mest, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker and parent of a child with autism. The group offers a welcoming, understanding space for parents to share experiences, exchange resources, and find encouragement from others who truly understand the journey.
With Colleen’s professional expertise and personal insight, parents can feel supported, empowered, and connected as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising neurodivergent children.
Thanks to the generosity of a Sensory Village Foundation donor, this support group is FREE for families for one year. Supervised sensory play is provided for children while parents participate in the group.

Caring for the Caregiver is a support group created for the people who spend so much of their time caring for everyone else. Led by Miss Kate Kissling, LCSW, this group provides a welcoming and supportive space for caregivers to connect, share experiences, and focus on their own well-being.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, looking for connection, or simply need a space with others who understand the demands of caregiving, this group is an opportunity to feel heard, supported, and reminded that caring for yourself matters, too.
Children can enjoy supervised sensory play while caregivers participate in the group.
